From September 7 to 11, 2026, I took part in the IEEE Smart World Congress 2026, held at the University of Calabria in Rende, Italy.

During the event, I served as General Chair of IEEE METAVERSE 2026 and as Finance Chair of the IEEE Smart World Congress 2026.

I also had the opportunity to chair and introduce two keynote talks by Giuseppe Padula and Weisong Shi, which represented two important moments of the scientific program.

The conference brought together researchers and professionals from different countries to discuss emerging topics including Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Edge Computing, Digital Twins, Metaverse, cybersecurity, and smart environments.
