{"id":664,"date":"2023-10-18T13:53:01","date_gmt":"2023-10-18T13:53:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staff.icar.cnr.it\/vinci\/wordpress\/?p=664"},"modified":"2024-03-23T10:07:15","modified_gmt":"2024-03-23T10:07:15","slug":"insider-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staff.icar.cnr.it\/vinci\/wordpress\/index.php\/en\/2023\/10\/18\/insider-project\/","title":{"rendered":"INSIDER Project"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In October 2023, the ICAR-CNR and UNICAL teams within Project INSIDER met to kick off the project, which will continue until 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project <a href=\"https:\/\/scalab.dimes.unical.it\/projects\/insider\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/scalab.dimes.unical.it\/projects\/insider\/\">INSIDER: &#8220;INtelligent ServIce Deployment for advanced<br>cloud-Edge integRation&#8221;<\/a>, is within the <a href=\"https:\/\/prin.mur.gov.it\/Iniziative\/Detail?key=FiJNdaCuA71Xq3jYMAuZeQ%3D%3D\">Italian PRIN 2022 initiative and financed by the European Union &#8211; Next Generation EU<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The INSIDER project focuses on finding innovative solutions for optimizing the use of hybrid cloud\/edge infrastructures in IoT applications. The aim is to design adaptive solutions that can determine the best deployment strategy for an application, based on its functional and non-functional requirements, between cloud and edge. INSIDER will provide automatic tools to explore alternative deployment configurations and choose the best based on infrastructure constraints and service requirements. The main outcome of this project will be creating an intelligent framework that can analyze, support, and deploy IoT applications for hybrid cloud\/edge infrastructures in an optimal way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this project, I&#8217;m both the associated investigator and leader for the ICAR-CNR unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are a great team, and I&#8217;m sure we will achieve remarkable results!
