  • cloud computing and data centers;

  • peer-to-peer networks and systems;

  • bio-inspired algorithms and protocols;

  • Internet of Things solutions and technologies.

Application domains:

  • data centers: improve efficiency and reduce cost and energy consumption;

  • smart cities: computation of user mobility patterns, optimization of transport systems;

  • energy management and power grids: improve system efficiency and minimize costs for the users and for the system.
